Description
December 27th, 2008, the BHS Foundation Launched. Our Christmas Extravaganza was a success. A mock check was presented to the school Principal as a pledge to raise one million dollars by 2010 to guarentee every graduate a secondary education. We signed up over 100 paid memberships that day and the talent show of the decades was very entertaining. It was held on Burke High Campus and tours was given by the student ROTC squad. We are currently seeking decades from all of the Black High Schools that was in the Charleston pennisular. Burke,CA Brown, Rivers, Avery, Charleston High, etc. We currently have over 500 paid members to start with our triangle of success which includes Burke's Centinnial Celebration in year 2010.
